downtown Bend is only a 10 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride from the
cottage. The Old Mill District shops and Les Schwab Amphitheatre concerts
are 15 minutes by bike. Or, to enjoy the outdoors, walk the 20-mile trail
along the Deschutes River. Mt. Bachelor's downhill or cross-country skiing
is accessible by a bus stop just a short distance from the cottage. The
mountain itself, with the Cascade Lakes and Wilderness, is only 20 miles
up the road. Sunriver's premier golfing is just 15 miles away.
